Who are we? Our Mission:
The Northern Ohio Damage Prevention Council is a proactive network of stakeholders involved in all phases of activities requiring excavation. We are offering this family friendly 5K run/walk on 8/11 in Brecksville for only $8.11 for runners & walkers of all ages and abilities. (We also will be having an 811 meter kids Fun Run!) Why? What: The 811 Run is a 5k run/walk and public awareness event to highlight the safety message – Know What’s Below. Contact 811 before you dig. We will also have a 811 Meter (1/2 mile) fun run for the kids that will start at 6:45pm.
When: Tuesday, 8/11- 6:45pm Kids Fun Run, 5K Run/Walk starts at 7pm.
Where: Starts and finishes at Oak Grove Picnic Area which is located in the beautiful Brecksville Reservation. Easily found off Valley Road in Brecksville. Map To Event Location
Cost: $8.11 YES IT IS TRUE…This 5k run/walk is only $8.11 (plus online reg processing fees) 
WOW! A cotton/poly-blend T-shirt is included with registration. Register early as quantities are limited! PLUS… All registered will get a fabulous 811 goodie bag! This family friendly event is for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. We will have food & refreshments along with special activities and safety displays. Fun for all!
Awards: We will have great 811Run awards for the top 3 male and female finishers in the 5K as well as top 3 age group awards, male and female in each of the following categories: 10& under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65&up. All 811 Meter Fun Runners/Walkers will get a nifty participation ribbon!
